I've visited it several times, and each time I'm amazed by the renovations it undergoes – the authorities have done an excellent job of improving the facilities, pathways, and landscaping while preserving the natural charm that makes this place special. 

The clear spring water, lush vegetation, and peaceful atmosphere create a perfect retreat where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy a leisurely afternoon away from the city's hustle and bustle.

However, timing is everything when it comes to experiencing Ain Zerka as one of the top things to see in Tetouan City Morocco. 

I don't like or recommend visiting it during the summer to avoid the crowds that flock there during the hot months. 

The summer weekends can be particularly overwhelming, with families and groups filling every available space, which somewhat diminishes the peaceful experience the site is meant to offer.

The best time to visit is from March to April, especially during the week, when the weather is pleasantly mild, the landscape is at its greenest from the spring rains.

Tip: I recommend agreeing with your taxi driver to wait for you or arrange a pickup time, as finding a taxi back down can sometimes be challenging, especially if you're there during sunset when most drivers are busy in the city.
